This constant contact will wear down the hinges and cause them to rust. Urethane hinges for stepsides have been around for years so Brothers Trucks set out to fix this issue for the 1967-72 Fleetside trucks. We settled on a high quality CNC machine Delrin ring around a zinc core. This core is then mounted to a stainless steel bracket to allow an easy, bolt-in installation.
